Day five – and fittingly five shots today. We take another visit to Kew The Music for Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs, Paul Weller’s main support act for his show in July.
They were a healthy mix of psychedelic, rock, with a hint of indie. A fine blend and a great performance, check them out if you get a chance.

Day four of this week’s photo blog and another live performer, today it’s Lucy Rose at Kew The Music, 11 July 2013. Paul Weller had personally asked her to come and play a few songs as his support act. She pitched up, minus her band, with acoustic guitar in hand and briskly treated us to a short set. Perfect alt folk in the summer’s sun, no fuss, plenty of frills and a few thrills thrown in too. And a rare beast, a smiling artist!

A new week, a new theme; day one today of pics taken at live concerts ‘(A)LIve’, starting with Paul Weller at his Kew The Music concert at Kew Gardens, London, back in July of this year.
